Colombian singer Karol G tumbles down stairs during Miami show

MIAMI — Colombian singer Karol G took a tumble during her concert Friday night in Miami, falling down a flight of stairs midsong.

The 30-year-old singer, whose real name is Carolina Giraldo Navarro, was performing at Miami’s FTX Arena as part of her “Bichota” tour, the Miami Herald reported.

The singer was performing “Ahora Me Llama” in front of a sold-out crowd when she attempted to make her way downstage, according to People. The singer fell to the bottom of the stairs, the magazine reported.

Navarro paused for a few seconds to regain her composure, and a background dancer rushed to her side to help the singer to her feet, the Herald reported. She resumed performing seconds later, the newspaper reported.

Navarro’s fall was captured on social media and quickly posted to Twitter and TikTok.

A representative for the singer did not immediately respond to People’s request for comment. Navarro also has not commented publicly on her fall, or whether she was injured, the Herald reported.

TMZ reported that Navarro suffered broken nails and a injured knee.
