Meet The KRMG News Staff

Anchor

Steve Berg joined 102.3 KRMG in the fall of 2008 and currently anchors the news segments of The KRMG Evening News.


KRMG Afternoon News Host

Born in Tulsa and raised in Owasso, Broken Arrow and Skiatook, Skyler Cooper is a life-long Green Country resident. Skyler started his career at KRMG in 2012. He became a reporter in 2014 and worked as a reporter and producer for the KRMG Morning News until 2021, when he became Host of the KRMG Afternoon News.


Traffic Anchor

For nearly 30 years, John Filbeck has provided you with news, severe weather, and traffic information on KRMG. Each day he helps you home from work, as part of the KRMG Evening News with Skyler Cooper.


Producer

Denver Foxx is producer for the KRMG Morning News weekdays and host of the KRMG Saturday Morning News. He also hosts the Wheels car care show Saturday mornings. Denver has been with KRMG over 38 years.



Anchor

Matt Hutson is the overnight news anchor on KRMG. Before joining KRMG, he spent over a decade as a sports journalist, and was the play-by-play voice of the Tulsa Crude for their comically disastrous lone season in the United States Hockey League. If he had taken better notes, he would have written a book about it by now.


Reporter

Crystal Kelly graduated from Owasso High School and started working in TV news her senior year. Crystal joined KRMG in 2022. She is an advocate for Autism acceptance and a mom to an adult son with ASD. In her free time, she likes to hike with her chihuahuas and dance with her friends.


Producer

Steve's radio career began just before his senior year in high school in 1977 in Rockford, IL. Over the years he's worked in just about every format in markets from Anchorage, AK to Dallas, TX and many cities in between. Steve landed at KRMG in August of 2021.


Producer

Dick joined KRMG in 2008. He is currently a producer and contributor to the KRMG news team. Dick has been in radio in Tulsa since the mid-70s.


Anchor & Reporter

Russell Mills came to Tulsa in 1991 with an AA degree in Broadcast Journalism and a new family. He worked in local television for more than 20 years as a show producer, assignment editor, and online content director. He built one of the first television news websites in the country and helped pioneer streaming audio and video, especially as it related to weather and live news coverage on the Internet.


News Editor

Ben Morgan is an on-air anchor and producer of the KRMG Morning News with Dan Potter. He likes classic rock, pro wrestling, and live theater.


KRMG Morning News Host

As host of KRMG’s flagship news program, The KRMG Morning News, Dan Potter has won two National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Awards for medium market Personality of the Year as well as similar honors from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters. Dan came to KRMG as news director and morning news anchor in 2008. He began hosting the KRMG Morning News in 2012.


Anchor

Glenn is a self-described news and sports junkie. His passion for radio dates back to 1975.


Traffic Anchor

Growing up along the Illinois River in Tahlequah, Chase is a true native of Green Country. He proudly joined KRMG in 2016 and shares his knowledge of Oklahoma roads daily on the KRMG Morning News with Dan Potter as he helps you navigate the Tulsa metro.


KRMG Morning News Co-Host

Jen Townley is a 24-year veteran of television news, a longtime Tulsa resident. Before joining the KRMG Morning News with Dan Potter in December 2021, Jen was a Emmy Award-winning, senior news producer for FOX23 (KOKI-TV), KRMG’s sister news station. Jen was born and raised in New York and lived in Louisiana for eight years before deciding to start her family here in Oklahoma. When she's not working, Jen loves spending time at home in Owasso with her two kids, husband and their miniature dachshund Lulu.


Anchor

Bert Williams is a KRMG news anchor and producer of Cox Media Tulsa's Sunday morning public affairs program called Oklahoma Perspective. Bert has worked for KRMG for over ten years and has over 50 years of experience in broadcasting and radio production. He and his wife, Pat, have lived in Broken Arrow since 1991.
