62-year-old Tulsa woman reportedly points gun at officers

A 62-year-old woman was arrested Monday night for allegedly pointing a weapon at Tulsa officers.

The incident happened around 9:25 p.m., near 91st and Delaware.

We're told officers were called out to the Delaware Crossing townhomes after a man claimed Marilyn Masterson threatened him with a Taser, while he was taking out the trash.

Police say Masterson didn't answer the door after they knocked, rang the doorbell, and announced "Tulsa police." Still, they could see her pointing a handgun at them while inside her home.

The officers then pulled their weapons and took cover.

Masterson did eventually come out carrying a dog and was taken into custody. Officers recovered the handgun inside her home.  The gun was said to be loaded.

While being questioned,  Masterson claimed she pointed the gun at officers because "she was scared and didn't know who was knocking on her door."

Masterson was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.  She faces a count of pointing a deadly weapon with intent.
