A 61-year-old Tulsa woman was busted on Tuesday after trying to use a forged prescription at an area CVS pharmacy.
The incident happened around 5:23 p.m., near 21st and Harvard.
Betty Hooks tried to pass the forged script off at a drive-thru window, but the pharmacist knew better and called for help. Hooks was still there when police arrived at the scene.
She reportedly told officers she was picking up a prescription for a friend. Police say that story didn't ring true because the name on the script was Lashawn Nathan, which is an alias for Hooks.
We're told she was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.
