Paul McCartney is set to take the stage a second time in Tulsa, this time for the BOK Center's 5th anniversary.
After last Friday's announcement that you heard first on KRMG, many listeners wanted to know: why not Garth Brooks?
It's worth noting that Brooks was part of the BOK Center's grand opening festivities in August 2008, albeit in a non-musical role.
KRMG asked BOK Center GM John Bolton if getting Garth is a possibility. Bolton says, "It's certainly our number one most requested act and has been since day one."
Bolton tells KRMG that fans have reason to hope. Bolton says, "Hopefully one day, we'll get him to come over to Tulsa from Owasso to play a show."
