Tulsa surplus auction is Saturday

Tulsa, Okla. — The City of Tulsa's Surplus Auction is set for 9:30 Saturday morning.

The city holds surplus auctions every year to sell unused items.

Unclaimed items from police, confiscated vehicles and several pieces of equipment are for sale.

There is no registration fee for the event and children under the age of 16 are not allowed.

The auction will be held at 108 North Trenton.

"Typical surplus is comprised of field inspection vehicles, police vehicles, trucks of all sorts, fire trucks, tractors, backhoes, trailers, specialized rolling equipment, boats & motors, specialized equipment; concrete saws, traffic signals, fire plugs, ditch shoring, truck engines/transmissions, gym equipment, kilns, lab equipment, PCs and related equipment, FAX machines, telephones, SCBAs, fire hoses, police light/siren bars, lawn care equipment, power tools, office furnishings, stoves, refrigerators, power generators, air compressors, vehicle test/repair equipment, etc.

Note: Every auction does not always have all the items previously mentioned. These types of surplus were only identified to give an idea of the types that may be up for sale at any given auction." - City of Tulsa
