Tulsa has it's seventh homicide of the new year with the shooting of a man at 4308 S Garnett Road.
Someone called police after hearing gunshots about 9:30 p.m. Monday at the Garden Courtyard Apartments.
Tulsa Police Corporal Andrew MacKenzie tells us, "He knocked on the door to try to get some help and collapsed in the doorway. I think that person is the one who called it in and it was upgraded to a shooting."
MacKenzie says the victim is a 52-year old black male.
"We're trying to determine whether it was robbery-motivated but we're still unsure of that as of now."
MacKenzie says, "A canvass was done of the entire apartment complex and as of now we don't have any leads or any suspect description."
