Temporary traffic restrictions at Broken Arrow’s New Orleans Square

Broken Arrow drivers will see changes at the intersection of New Orleans and Elm from March 10th to March 17th.

According to the City of Broken Arrow, drivers will only be allowed to make right turns during that time. Left turns and straight-through traffic will not be allowed.

This is to allow crews to safely install a medallion in the middle of the intersection.

BA City Manager Michael Spurgeon told KRMG the project is nearing completion.

“You can see the light at the end of the tunnel with regard to this project and that light is not a train.”

—  Michael Spurgeon, Broken Arrow City Manager

The City scheduled the work to happen during spring break in hopes of avoiding heavy traffic.
