Stolen truck investigation nets huge drug bust in Tulsa

An investigation into a stolen vehicle led to a major drug bust, according to Tulsa police.

TPD said on March 3rd, Auto Theft Detectives found a stolen truck at a house near 31st and Garnett.

Officers obtained a warrant and searched the truck, finding drugs, guns and a large amount of cash.

TPD said officers found:

  • 23 lbs. of Methamphetamine
  • One pound of cocaine
  • 3.2 lbs. of Fentanyl pills
  • 2.8 lbs. of powder Fentanyl
  • 2 firearms
  • $30k in cash believed to be drug proceeds

Tulsa police arrested Steven Lazarin in connection with the stolen truck and its contents.

TPD said Lazarin faces charges for:

  • Aggravated Trafficking of Meth
  • Aggravated Trafficking of Cocaine
  • Aggravated Trafficking of Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony AFCF x 2 (After Former Conviction of a Felony)
  • Possession of a Stolen Vehicle AFCF
  • Possession of Drug Proceeds AFCF
  • Tax Stamp AFCF
