Salvation Army has role in child care during school closure

Tulsa, Okla. — The Salvation Army is playing an increasingly critical role in the Tulsa area during the school shutdown. Captain Ken Chapman stresses the Salvation Army just wants to be there for students and their families. “Yesterday we had over 600. Today it is trending up,” the Captain said. The child care is free, but it's costing $18,000 a day. Donations of supplies or money are welcome.
