Roy Clark memorial service: What you need to know

BROKEN ARROW, OK — A public memorial for musician and actor Roy Clark will be held today at 11am, at Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow.

Pastor Kenneth Hagin will give the opening and closing prayers and deliver a message in between musical performances by the likes of Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, and Larry Gatlin. Clark's longtime manager Jim Halsey will deliver the eulogy.

The service is open to the public and a large crowd is expected so if you're going, be ready for traffic. Rhema will provide shuttles from their parking lots and Broken Arrow police will be on hand to control the flow of cars in and around the church on 71st street between Aspen and Elm.

Clark's family requests contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a supporter of the organization and headlined a golf tournament for St. Jude's for several years — the hospital even named a floor in his honor.
