Overturned semi closes Will Rogers Turnpike between Claremore and Big Cabin

Tulsa, Okla. — Traffic is likely to remain stalled until 9 a.m. Thursday on the Will Rogers Turnpike after a semi rolled over into a ditch.

The trailer is being unloaded before crews can tow it away.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. at mile marker 261.

That's east of Claremore.

The roadway is blocked at the Claremore exit on I-44 eastbound.

Traffic was also blocked off for westbound traffic on I-44 at Big Cabin.

We're told the driver was not injured.
