NSU gets grant for mental health services

Northeastern University has garnered a $100,000 grant, enabling the school to expand mental healthcare services for American Indian students.

NSU Tribal Studies Director Sara Barnett says, “the funding provided directly supports the expansion of mental health services for our students, as well as some funding to help promote these services.”

The university received the funding through the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board.
