An argument involving possible drugs got a man stabbed late Wednesday.
We're told the victim was stabbed at about 11:51 p.m. outside a residence located near 1100 North Florence Place.
Tulsa Police Sergeant August Terbrock tells us, "An acquaintance of the victim whom he only knew by a first name had been at the location. There was an argument and as a result, there was a confrontation outside where he was stabbed."
He says the victim sustained a minor stab wound and was treated at the scene.
Terbrock says that the victim told police that the suspect had reached into the victim's pocket to take something from him.
Officers were able to locate someone in the area that matched the description of the suspect that was provided by the victim.
When police approached the suspect, he tried to run away but was apprehended by police.
Terbrock said the suspect had methamphetamine on his person.
The victim identified the suspect as the person who stabbed him at the original scene.
