An alert janitor at Bishop Kelley High School called police when he heard burglars on the roof trying to break into the school Friday nght.
We're told two juveniles used a key card that was taken in a previous burglary at the school, allegedly by the same suspects.
When police were called at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, a burglary detective responded to the scene.
He said he was working at least four active burglary cases involving the same subjects burglarizing the high school within the last two months.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Tim Lewandowski tells us, "One of the juveniles even had some of the stolen property from the previous burglary on his person."
The Tulsa police helicopter pilot spotted the burglars on the roof.
We're told one of the boys jumped down from the roof and tried to run away, but he was apprehended by an officer.
"The other stayed on the roof and tried to hide behind some air conditioners," Lewandowski said.
The Tulsa Fire Department was called to bring a ladder to the scene.
