Bartlesville man accused of dragging Owasso officer on Walmart parking lot

Owasso, Okla. — A Bartlesville man is accused of dragging an Owasso police officer across a Walmart parking lot.

We're told 23-year old Mitchell Greenwalt was inside a car when police tried to get him to surrender on June 30.

Documents tell us Greenwalt had argued with police from inside his car before driving through the parking lot, dragging the officer. The officer’s body camera became detached during the assault.

Greenwalt was arrested for assaulting an officer, resisting arrest and endangering a child who was inside the car during the incident.
