Alleged road rage incident leads to arrest in Broken Arrow

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — A man has been arrested in an alleged road rage incident where he shot at a motorcycle driver, according to the Broken Arrow Police Department.

BAPD said officers responded to a shooting near Houston St. and Elm Pl. around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

When BAPD arrived on the scene, they found a man who had a single gunshot wound to his shoulder.

BAPD said their investigation revealed the victim pulled out of his driveway on a motorcycle, near another vehicle driving down the road.

A short time later, that vehicle pulled up next to the victim and the driver, later identified as Parker Day, shot at the victim, BAPD said.

BAPD said one bullet hit the victim in the shoulder, exited, and then got lodged in his helmet.

BAPD responded to Day’s address and arrested him.

BAPD also said after Day’s arrest, jail staff found baggies possibly containing drugs on him.

According to BAPD, Day faces charges of shooting with intent to kill, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
