Muggy and stormy start to the week

• Evening t-showers will gradually dissipate with mostly quiet, warm weather overnight
• Spotty showers and sprinkles Monday morning
• Turning hot and humid with a heat index topping 100
• Scattered t-storms are possible Monday afternoon and evening
• One or two storms may be severe with locally strong wind gusts and small hail possible
• A continued chance of a few t-showers into Tuesday as a cold front arrives
• Staying hot, but much less humid from midweek onward
• Typical summer heat with mostly dry weather for Labor Day Weekend
