Tulsa party supply store announces retirement sale

TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa party supply and costume store will be closing after 67 years and a retirement sale will start Nov. 1, according to a press release from Ehrle’s Party Supply.

The release said the announcement came with a “heavy heart” but also “much gratitude” after 67 years of business.

According to the release, their retail building, near 51st and Sheridan, was sold and they were unable to find another suitable location. They also said relocation was “untenable” due to the effects of COVID-19, inflation and supply chain issues on their small business model.

A retirement sale and liquidation of assets will start on November 1, 2022. This will include all inventory, retail fixtures and business assets, such as costumes, party supplies, tables, chairs, games, warehouse equipment and more.

The release also thanked all their customers over the years.

A similar post was made on the Ehrle’s Party Supply Facebook page.

To help with the expenses of liquidation, a GoFundMe was created.
