Kardashians announce deal with Hulu

The Kardashians, who announced the final season of their hit show in September, aren’t done with TV.

News of a new deal signed with Hulu was announced Thursday during Disney’s Investor Day. Disney is the majority owner of the streaming service and shares ownership with Comcast.

The multi-year deal was signed by Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner, according to CNN and People magazine. The family plans to “create global content” to be streamed exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. beginning late next year. International streaming service Star will carry the content for select markets abroad.

No further details about the planned content have been released, but members of the Kardashian-Jenner family confirmed the announcement via Twitter.

Season 20 — the final season — of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” will air early next year.

“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children,” the family said of the decision to end the show. “We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”
