Women accused of abuse involving extension cords

A female couple is arrested on Tuesday after DHS workers find injuries consistent with abuse of three-of-five children in their care.

Tulsa police say Angela Johnson and Chasity Allums deny abusing the children.

Everything started on Monday when A DHW worker contacted one of the children at McArthur Elementary School.  The child told the worker Allums, "whoops us with extension cords with our clothes off."

The child had injuries to his arm and leg.

Police say he also told the DHS worker Allums did this to his little brother and his mother's girlfriend, Johnson, allowed Allums to spank her children.

The other children were checked out and two others showed signs of abuse.  No word on how many children belong to each woman.

Both women are currently in the Tulsa County Jail on multiple counts of child abuse.
