Tulsa police are looking for a man who used a pistol in a robbery at a Tulsa motel overnight.
We're told that the victim was trying to get a room when he was robbed at the America's Value Inn at near 31st and Memorial.
Tulsa Police Corporal R.W. Solomon tells us, "A black male who jumped out of a van demanded all of his money and jumped back in the van and drove off."
The bandit was driving a tan color, full-size van with silver lettering on the side.
Police call such robberies a crime of opportunity, committed when not many people are around.
"It's late at night and there's not a whole bunch of people outside at the time the armed robberies are occurring, so there's not very many witnesses at the time the robbery does occur."
We're told that cash was the only item taken in the robbery.
