Suspect returns, standoff ends in Claremore

Claremore, Okla. — Claremore police are back on the scene of a standoff from Wednesday night where they are waiting for a wanted man to surrender.

He came out of the house and surrendered to police just before ten Thursday night.

We're told John Good had threatened family members with a knife before hiding in the attic to avoid contact with police.

Officers waited for five hours before taking action, but found Good had escaped.

He was wanted on warrants for assault and battery and domestic offenses.
