Missing 13-year-old boy found safe in McIntosh County

12:30 p.m. Update: Ethan McIntosh has been found safe Tuesday afternoon in McIntosh County, according to law enforcement. This story is developing and we will update as more information becomes available.

A search is underway by the Muscogee Nation Lighthorse Police, FBI, McIntosh County Sheriff’s Department, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for Ethan McIntosh. McIntosh is the son of Peggy McGuire, who has been missing since 2015.

McIntosh was reported to have been driving an orange tractor when he was last seen on Monday, and that tractor was found about a mile north of the Mission Acres Country Store Monday night, according to Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

The FBI joined the search around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning and is assessing the scene before larger search efforts continue.

Lighthorse Police provided an update around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, citing excess mud and water due to the thawing snow and ice causing problems in the search. No other details were reported on the potential whereabouts of McIntosh during the update.

Contact the Muscogee Nation Lighthorse Police at (918) 732-7850 if you have seen Ethan or have any information that may help authorities find him.
