Police investigating after man was hit, killed by train in north Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — A man has died after he was hit by a freight train near Pine and Yale in north Tulsa.

Police said the train was heading east, moving at a slow speed. The man was also walking east on the tracks.

Officers said the train honked at the man as it could not slow down in time, but he didn’t move.
