Tulsa, Okla. — A stolen car sets off a Tulsa police chase.

The owner called 911 when he found that his car containing his cell phone had been stolen near I-44 and Memorial around 12:45 a.m. Monday.

The victim was “periodically checking his app and he noticed that the car was westbound on I-44 from about Memorial,” TPD Sgt. Andrew MacKenzie said.

“Officers were able to catch up to the car as it was going over the Arkansas River.”

The driver, 30-year old Bradley Rigg (shown), and his passenger, 26-year old Afton Lynn Cowdrey, bailed near 61st and South Elwood Avenue.

A police canine arrested the Cowdrey.

Rigg surrendered almost immediately.

The Cowdrey was taken to the hospital for treatment to a police dog bite to her shoulder.
