Newly released recording allows you to hear the voice of Alexander Graham Bell

The breakthrough came just over 128 years ago on April 15th 1885.
In the recording released by The Smithsonian you hear Bell count and then introduce himself and Chichester A. Bell then give the recording date and location.
"Hear my voice, Alexander Graham Bell," he says.
The disc is wax and has been stored for more than 100 years.
The recent activity came after new technology came about that allowed for recovery of the audio so that it was understandable.
