Ibuprofen and naproxen could hurt your heart

Some painkillers could increase your risk of heart problems, even if you don't have an EXISTING heart condition.

That's what the FDA is now saying about ibuprofen, like brand-names Advil and Motrin, and naproxen, like the brand-name Aleve.

The two drugs are in the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug category.

And the risk is definitely worse if you DO have an existing heart condition.

Better choices to avoid heart trouble is acetaminophen, like Tylenol, but keep in mind that can cause liver problem for people who consume a lot of alcohol.
