Dog killed in early morning Tulsa house fire

Tulsa crews were busy fighting a house fire early Sunday morning.

Firefighters received the call around midnight for a residence near East 28th and North Kenosha.

A firefighter at the scene tells us the two residents were not at home.  However, their dog was and the pet unfortunately died.

There is considerable damage to the home.  Crews don’t believe the house is a total loss.

So far, the cause is still under investigation.
