Cruz TV ad had softcore porn actress

Campaign officials for GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz yanked one of its ads off the air, when it was discovered that one of the actresses in the ad has done some erotic movies in the past.

Yahoo.com says the actress, Amy Lindsay, has had roles in the movies “Erotic Confessions,” “Insatiable Obsession,” and “Secrets of a Chambermaid” among others.

She's also had roles in more mainstream offerings like "Star Trek: Voyager."

The Cruz campaign says she answered an open audition for the ad and was hired without being properly vetted.

But Lindsay says she's a conservative Christian and a Republican and is disappointed in the campaign's decision, saying they had a chance to show that not everyone fits the GOP stereotype.
