Tulsa, Okla. — A Tulsa man gets life in prison for a homicide in Tulsa County.
Dameon Leathers was sentenced yesterday for a 2018 homicide.
But because he attacked the prosecutor in the middle of the courthouse during his trial, he still faces assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charges for the attack on Nov. 22.
We're told Leathers picked up a water pitcher and lunged at an assistant DA striking him in the back of the head while the jury was being polled.
