Armed robbery victim sees trouble coming, but it's too late

An armed robbery victim almost made it home, but not quite.

Tulsa Police Corporal R.W. Solomon tells us the victim was robbed near 7900 East 60 Place around 1:45 a.m. Thursday.

The man was approaching his residence at the Shadow Vista apartment complex when he "observed somebody coming from out of the shadows."

That person had a hand gun and demanded all of the victim's money and his cell phone or anything that he had on him.

The victim had only his keys, which the man took and ran away in an unknown direction of travel.

Police are looking for a black male in his mid-20's, who was wearing black clothing and was armed with a silver revolver.

The victim was not injured.
