Saint Francis Warren Clinic opens in Owasso

OWASSO, Okla. — On Tuesday, Jan. 3, hundreds gathered at the newly built Warren Clinic in Owasso for dedication and blessing at 11610 North 137th East Ave.

“I think it’s really an important milestone for the clinic,” said Brent Dennis, chief medical officer.

Forty-eight thousand square feet encompasses urgent care, pediatrics, family medicine, rehab, lab and imaging services.

One of the Warren Clinic’s medical assistants said it was an exciting feeling to be a part of the dedication and blessing.

“It’s exciting. Overall, it’s an exciting feeling,” said Christal, who declined to give her last name. “When you bless something it’s anointed. There’s a lot of sick patients that come here. They need healing. They need love.”

“This day is important to me because I have had the pleasure of having so many wonderful patients in this area in my own practice, and repeatedly they have said, ‘when are we going to increase services in Owasso?’” Dennis said.

The solid foundation is based upon the Saint Francis Health System staff who make it special and bring more than 75 years of professional experience.

“It’s not just how big it is or how expensive it was, it’s just the meaning behind it all,” Christal added.

The new facility, at the intersection of Highway 169 and Highway 20, is designed to better serve Owasso, Collinsville and surrounding rural communities.

“Being right here, centrally located allows access predominantly for the patients. For so many of ours who live in rural areas, can get to this area quickly in emergency, can get to their physician when they need to,” Dennis told FOX23.

“Really it’s strengthening relationships that are already there and allowing people to access that where maybe they haven’t been able to access that before,” he said.
