This puts Oklahoma with a total of 56 tornadoes in 2021 so far.

The annual average for the state is 57 tornadoes, which means October’s tornadoes count brought us back to a near average count.

Of all the tornadoes this year, 20 were unrated, 12 were rated EF0, 23 were rated EF1 and one was rated EF2. No stronger tornadoes have occurred this year in Oklahoma.
