OSU-CHS unveils new building, State Medical Examiners Office housed inside

TULSA, Okla. — A new hall of the OSU Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS) campus in Tulsa was unveiled Thursday.

The budget for the project was $62 million, but the final cost was significantly less. Specific numbers are not yet available.

The four-story hall sits at 120-thousand square feet

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will take up a portion of the first and second floors. OSU-CHS will use the remaining space for labs, classrooms, research centers and offices and conference rooms.

OSU President Kayse Shrum, Sen. Roger Thompson, Rep. Kevin Wallace and OSU-CHS President Johnny Stephens spoke at the Thursday’s ribbon-cutting event.
