Wildfires scorch western Oklahoma counties

Now, the very latest on wildfires causing havoc for crews in our state.

Oklahoma Forestry Services spokeswoman Michelle Finch-Walker says strong wind gusts fueled 14 wildfires in western Oklahoma on Saturday. At last check, more than 572 square miles have been charred.

Dewey County has suffered the most damage with 375 square miles charred at this point.

A State of Emergency continues for 52 Oklahoma counties.  This is in connection with the wildfires that started on Thursday.
