The Tulsa Public Schools Board met for over 4 hours Monday night, and failed to fill a vacancy for the District 2 seat.
Prior to the meeting the school board narrowed it’s options to two applicants.
But two failed votes for each candidate and squabbling among board members resulted in a deadlock.
If the board does not elect anyone in 60 days, a special election will take place in June.
