Oklahoma ranks worst in recent flu cases

TULSA — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says Oklahoma is in the high-risk category, which is actually the worst in the nation right now.

Experts say the vaccine this year didn’t quite hit the mark, so they’re shifting the focus to prevention and treatment.

Fourteen people have died due to flu-related symptoms in Oklahoma since Sept., 2021.
