1 arrested after fatal shooting in East Tulsa Sunday

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police said the victim in the shooting has been identified as 26-year-old Mikaleb Fitzgerald-White.

Police say Detectives learned through their investigation Fitzgerald was with a woman at a strip mall in the same area where they encountered the two male suspects.

The two males later met up with Fitzgerald and the woman again and one of them pulled a gun and attempted to rob them, police said. They said one of the male suspects shot Fitzgerald during the attempted robbery.

Through their investigation, Detectives identified 24-year-old Deandre Marsalis as the suspected shooter. He was taken into custody and arrested for first-degree murder, police said.

Police say both suspects ran away from the scene, and the woman was not injured.

Detectives are still working to identify the second suspect, Tulsa Police said on their Facebook page.

The Tulsa Police Department said one person is dead after a shooting near E. 31st St. and S. Mingo Rd.

Police said at around 6:00 p.m., they responded to a shooting near E. 31st St. and S. Mingo Rd.

When they arrived, they found a male with a gunshot wound, police said.

Police said the male was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police are still looking for the suspects.
