Woman shot, killed at south Tulsa QuikTrip

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are investigating after a woman was shot and killed outside of a south Tulsa QuikTrip Thursday night.

A woman was found dead outside of the QuikTrip, near East 61st Street and U.S. Highway 169, around 10:30 p.m.

Police said Alexes Flanner is in custody and she is the alleged shooter.

Police checked security video from the convenience store, which they said gave them good information, and found a car connected to the crime.

“We’re still in the process of determining the motive for the shooting at this time,” said Tulsa Police Lt. Matt Snow. “We do know that the victim was connected to the persons of interest in this case to a certain degree.”

Police have not yet released the identity of the victim.
