TULSA, Okla. — Two Tulsa County Sheriff’s Deputies will try to take home the ultimate prize on the popular game show “Beat Shazam” hosted by Jamie Foxx.

On the show, three teams of two players each compete through four rounds to identify a series of songs, banking money for each correct answer.

Deputies Laprerix Davis and Chris Birch love music and prepared for the show in many ways, one included watching episodes of “Beat Shazam.

Birch said when he really started to study, he realized how massive the song catalog truly is.

“I watched the show because it’s so hard to prepare for it,” Birch said. “There’s a million songs out there. You’ll never know them all.”

“I thought I knew every song until I got on the show,” Birch said. “So when I got on the show, I realized I know nothing.”

The deputies episode of “Beat Shazam” airs Monday at 8 p.m. on FOX23.
