Tsarnaev brothers intended to bomb Times Square after Boston

Brothers had seven bombs when captured

Dzhokar Tsarnaev stopped talking to investigators once he was read his rights in the hospital room his week.

But before he did the surviving suspect in the Boston marathon bombings said he and his brother talked about setting of their remaining bombs in Times Square.

Tsarnaev had earlier said he and his brother Tamerlan wanted to “party” in New York after they killed and maimed people in Boston.

Tamerlan was killed and Dzhokar captured after one of the largest manhunts in American history.

But that plan was halted last Friday when the brothers were discovered and chased by police around Boston.

Law enforcement officials think the brothers were “aspirational at most" when they talked about setting off bombs in New York.
