TULSA, Okla. — An early morning shooting placed a midtown Tulsa hospital on lockdown for about two hours on Monday.

Police said around 3 a.m., they were called to Hillcrest Medical Center near East 11th Street and South Utica Avenue for a possible shooting.

Police said two people were involved in a disturbance with a third person in the hospital’s north parking garage by the sky bridge. All three were at the hospital to visit the same person.

The hospital was placed on a lockdown for about two hours, but the lockdown has since been lifted.

The third person fired an unknown number of shots at the two people. Neither person was hit by gunfire. Hospital staff heard the shots and saw the two people running on the sky bridge and called 911.

Police said nobody has been arrested at this time.
