Power restored after wind caused outages for more than 1,600 customers in Tulsa and Broken Arrow

TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE (4/08; 6:30 a.m.) — Power has been restored to all areas of Tulsa and Broken Arrow.

According to Wayne Green, the public information officer for the Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO), high winds blew a telephone pole into PSO power lines on E 21st Street.

Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) reported a power outage in midtown Tulsa and in parts of Broken Arrow that are impacting 1,658 customers.

In their statement released to customers, the company said to expect power to be restored in five hours.
