Police investigate after a body was found in north Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police is investigating after a body was found in north Tulsa.

Police told FOX23 a search party was looking for a missing person near E Pine Street and N Yale Avenue.

They found a heavily decomposed body and contacted officers.

Police also said it will take awhile for the forensic investigators to determine a cause of death.

The area where the body was found is close to a homeless encampment, police said.

Police did say it was unlikely the body was that of 30-year-old Caleb Zoellner, who disappeared May 19.
