Men of Distinction 2013 honorees announced

Mayor Dewey Bartlett, Jr., and 19 other Tulsa businessmen have been chosen by Tulsa citizens to be part of the 2013 Men of Distinction class.

The Tulsa Business & Legal News asks Tulsa citizens every year to nominate businessmen for the honor.

These are men that citizens believe serve the community, are accomplished in their respective professions, and inspire other men.

Industries such as public relations, legal, oil and gas, construction and banking are in the group.

Mayor Bartlett leads the field of businessmen that come from a variety of professions.

Sid Swinson of GableGotwals and Curtis M. Long of Fellers, Snider, Blankenship, Bailey & Tippens, P.C. represent the legal field.

Aaron Fulkerson of Schnake Turnbo Frank and Ryan Rex of Rex Public Relations were honored from the public relations field.

Other honorees include Bart Boatright of FlintCo., Frank X. Henke, IV, of American Bank and Trust, Travis Noland of Cherokee Nation Businesses, John Smaligo, Chairman Tulsa County; and Major Dan Rooney of the Folds of Honor Foundation.
