One hospitalized after motorcycle crash in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital following a collision Saturday evening in Tulsa, according to the Tulsa Police Department (TPD).

TPD said they were called to the accident, which took place near E. 31st St. and S. Sheridan Rd., around 6:40 p.m.

According to TPD, a motorcyclist was going south on Sheridan at a high rate of speed and was weaving in and out of traffic. At the same time, an SUV was going north on Sheridan.

According to TPD, the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. The driver of the SUV was not injured.

TPD said when the SUV tried to turn left into a nearby QuikTrip, they were hit by the motorcyclist.

TPD did not say which party was at fault.
