BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — A local teen has appeared on the History Channel Show “Forged in Fire,” a show where blacksmiths compete to make the best blade.

18-year-old Felicia Howard was present at a watch party of the episode at Smitty’s Garage Burgers in Broken Arrow.

FOX23 spoke with Howard, who said being on the show was an amazing experience.

“It was an amazing experience getting to be on the show. I’d do it again in a heartbeat, I met some amazing people and I had the opportunity to do just some really amazing things.”

Howard is one of the youngest females to ever appear on the show. She is not, however, the first Oklahoman on the show. A Fort Gibson man won the competition back in 2019.
