North Korea trip was for Michael Jordan, ended up with Dennis Rodman

At least they got a former Bull

The trip was part of an HBO show called Vice and the producers really wanted Michael Jordan to make that trip but he said no.

The New York Times reported Rodman and three members of the Harlem Globetrotters visited a supermarket (they were the only customers) and spent time with government officials, kids, and college students.

Kim Jung Un’s family are said to be fans of Jordan but have been recently seen in shirts with Rodman on them.

At a screening for the show this week Shane Smith, who heads Vice Media Group said having Rodman instead of MJ worked out perfectly "it fit right into our wheelhouse, because it’s absurd."

Show narrator Ryan Duffy admitted being in the country was an unusual feeling "I felt like we were walking through a real-live Truman Show."
