KRMG news has learned a man called Tulsa cops to say he found his girlfriend dead in a dumpster at the Bradford Apartments near Garrison and the Gilcrease Expressway.
Thursday afternoon detectives arrested the boyfriend Demond Wallker. Police say Walker had reported her missing a few hours earlier. He says when he went to look for her when he made the discovery.
The property manager also called police to report the body.
Officers say they did recover a gun.
The victim was shot to death.
That makes it the 46th homicide in Tulsa in 2016 and the seventh homicide this week.
